A few from the exhibition

For my Exhibition in 2010 we chose our own brief. I chose to portray emotion, friendship, love through the gestures of hands. Thank you to my lovely Models Tom and Sarah. I used natural lighting with a natural background as if they were going for a walk, lovers hand in hand.

Once again i used natural lighting with a black background. I think the emotion is heavily brought through in this image. The emotion of someone being there for them. The hand on the shoulder assuring them they are there.

I love you.. In front of a window. The light outlining the fingers bringing them forward in the image.

Older woman's hands, Such beautiful skin, rings and posture. Once again natural lighting

This image is one I composed when I first started my course.
It is just a white sheet as the background and then placed the buttons on it as
the islands of New Zealand. I then played with the image in Photoshop,
adding contrast. I like the way the contrast brings out the shapness of the
                                               colours.

This is another button creation. This was for one of my earlier briefs,Still life.
It was one of my first studio shots by myself. Rather proud of it.
Would like to rework the colours in this image.

                                                          Same Brief, different layout

Starting

I am such a lover for Photography! It started when I changed high schools to study it in Yr 13. I loved it and soon grabbed at the idea that I could become a Photographer. From there I went and studied for two years. Passed with flying colours and succeeded in becoming qualified . I love portrait Photography and mostly work with people but of course I am open to try anything.
This blog will help me open more of those idea's.Llet others see my work and also make comments.

So always feel free to!!

Cheers Ali
